Is Kos Reading my responses?

Let me put this one out there:

Recently Kos was responding to some Clinton supporter's comments that showed that Clinton was doing better than Obama in electoral-vote.com ev projections.

Please observe his comments from April 24th:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/4/24/ 113851/565/912/502497

It seems to me that he just stated more succinctly what I had posted before.  The general gist of this argument is that in the question of delectability Obama puts more states (and overall EVs into play) which is the gut feeling that I have had for some time.

Please see my response to a diary here:

Is Kos reading my diaries.. Probably not but hey.

It is really too early imo to take any of this polling data too seriously, however, as I everything changes in the time it takes for the election to get here.  There are many ways this can turn out and polls are generally pretty bad a week or two out, let alone 8 months in advance.

It doesn't matter.  Although his website is popular (not as much as it once was), his opinions have lost much respect over the past year.  Don't feel slighted if you're not getting his attention.  It's not worth much and additionally, even if he did read your counterarguments, he probably ignored them (blocked them out, so to speak).

It's not so much that we disagree (we don't, and are making the same argument), it's more the similarity of what I said and what he said that bears a striking resemblance.

Gotcha.  It's possible that he is co-opting your points without giving credit then.

On the bright side, if you're producing arguments that help your side's narratives and they're getting traction via his website, you may be accomplishing what you set out to do, even while getting none of the gratitude.  :-)

Wow.

Actually, I had trouble last night finding your comment; my browser has been a bit nuts.

It really does look like he co-opted your argument nearly verbatim.

If only Jerome would start front paging my pro-Hillary perception arguments... ;-)

Re: Is Kos Reading my responses? (none / 0)

I've been making that argument too about how to read electoral-vote.com. I generally get ignored.

Proudly joining the legions of people and states that don't matter on May 20th.

I generally find that a simple application of as few as two or three layers of aluminum foil to all of my walls and windows will prevent Kos from reading my responses. Thank God; now I can finally sleep at night.

Who cares what "Kos" thinks? I know I don't.
